Oh snap | Thank You Norma Jean!
The day was awesome! The weather was gorgeous! The Clients were so elated that they called some family to meet up and see “The One”…their new home had been found…this was a good day!
We began at one of my favorite “gems” or local business to have the best coffee around, Buon Giorno Coffee House. We were all on the same page, itinerary in hand, several homes to view and off we went. Once they fell in love, they called in some family to meet up…a few phone calls, some verbal agreements and we were ready to go our separate ways for the afternoon. Solid day of great times, successful results for happy clients-this is what it’s all about! YES!
Feelin’ good, locking up as they all loaded up in the various vehicles-yet, they were so thoughtful to all wait to make sure I had locked up successfully and ready to make my way to my vehicle.
So, I locked up-turned around to wave a farewell wave…and-then-a HUGE gust of wild wind took my skirt to my ears before I could drop my clipboard, keys and cell phone.
Seriously. This was like a scene from a crazy Hollywood low budget comedy movie.
They were all frozen in a state of “whoa”. What does one do in that situation…nothing. Absolutely nothing.
They waved with a subdued, low-n-slow wave and drove off. I died a wee bit in the moment then off I went.
I thought, that was so cool that they didn’t make it “a thing” and helped me save face in the moment.
…30 minutes later a text…
“Thank you for your time today “Norma Jean!”
To this day I laugh my tail off!
