Use Your Napkin: Vicky talks about how she and het partner, Liz zeroed in on how to fill the void and used a napkin at the old Irish Pub on a dreary rainy day in Fort Lauderdale, Florida! How many outstanding ideas have been sketched out on a napkin? Many…don’t underestimate the power of the cocktail napkin. They were able to identify the it was the PROFESSIONALS that needed help within the divorce process…lightbulb! Keep a pen in your handbag at the ready because you never know when the magic will happen…and in a big way.
Networking: Trusted advisors that can really provide the best results possible for their clients. Vicky shared so many valuable reasons for her mission and purpose, something that is worth highlighting “our professionals prepare every day, to work with a family on their worst day”. Wow. In addition to the collective minds of NADP that are networking with each other to sever their respective clients; it also offers a tremendous platform to share referrals that otherwise might not be readily available or known. Such a fantastic opportunity to build your toolbox to sever clients to the absolute best of one’s ability. Growth, national chapters now growing into Canada, France and currently building up a French Chapter that will be able to help serve French speaking families, couples, children and professional partners.
Hats: Vicky, as so many of us wear a lot of hats; she’s ingrained in the daily inner workings on the business, the daily tasks to keep the business on track and in the forefront of the public. When you work from home, it can adjust your business productivity to where the work is too close to home. Boundaries are important but even small steps are helpful. She talks about having to adjust quickly (Pandemic) to continue to stay in touch with all of the NADP membership. As a leader, she helped create an environment to help them embrace the technology aspects and certain challenges to keep things moving success.
