Ann has been creating calm and clutter free homes for her interior design clients. She also helps local home sellers prepare their homes to sell in less time at higher prices. As a wife, mother, small businessperson, and dog owner, she creates interiors that work for real people, without sacrificing beauty and creativity. Ann designs lovely spaces, where people want to relax, laugh and entertain family and friends. She is passionate about her faith, family, travel, and scuba diving. Past trips include Vietnam, Cambodia, Peru, New Zealand, to name a few. Born and raised in Ithaca, New York, she raised her children in the Chicago area before making it home to Texas in 2013.

Assembler: “I like to make Barbie Houses” …one day a dear friend of Ann’s, Erin asked her a great question; she asked Ann what she liked to do as her 12-year-old self. Ann said I liked making Barbie houses, guess what she is still doing that today! Ann describes herself as an assembler-love this. She dives into all of the magazines, books, resources to store the images in her mind then sources and assembles for a cohesive look or vibe whether it’s rearranging, new construction or anything in between. Ann explains how she also learned to “work it like a business” when someone offers to pay you for something you are natural talented or have a passion for…make it a business, work the hobby like a business! Invest in your business little by little, she discusses her steps to invest in tools, technology, your professional team such as a CPA. Having her husband’s supportive insights, she was able to put her outside sales and other skills to use for building her business.
Design: I do this, I make people happy! Losing her Mother from cancer when Ann was 11 years old, she didn’t grow up with a sense of this life being endless, which means to her that there’s not time to waste if you aren’t pleased with the way your life is going, change it. Design the life you want to live. A great point she shared: sharing your business goals by communicating with your family to help support your growth, goals and dreams and keeping everyone on the same page. Ann shares how she and her husband engage in regular discussions to make sure that they make time for health, travel, finances and to be on the same page…in a realistic way, “try to keep the main things, the main things”. They try finding things they can do together and enjoy doing together. They try to consciously to make choices to align with how they want their life to be.
Glamorous: Seriously, scroll her posts for a day in Ann’s glamorous life! Structuring her days to work on and in the business, creating her social media content, sourcing product or delivering product, site visits, deliveries, etc. Ann is full up hands on in her work! She may need to show up in tennis shoes, but she truly is a natural beauty inside and out-she is always glamorous! She talks about the early sharping of her Silhouette with influences of art and style from the women in her life. She participates in professional forums, continuing education for cutting edge and long view insights of trends for longevity providing her clientele the best service. Her skills from all of her past to current experiences, roles and now interior design and decorating all play a vital role in her success. She talks about how much people truly want to help you! Early in her career, she had key people that helped her., so Ann suggests that we take advantage of the opportunity like she did and ask those that went before you, utilize their knowledge bank. Ann also reminds us how important it is to have a strong circle of friends and family, she does and is grateful for all of them!
