Our VIP Featured Guest was born in Madrid, Spain, of Cuban descent, has been an Award-Winning photographer for 7 years namely Portrait Masters in Maternity and Contemporary Portrait Categories. She is a wife of a real estate entrepreneur, mother and has two fur babies.

She has a passion for music, fashion and art and notably launched her solid gold, unrivaled 40 Over 40 Project-a portrait experience for 40 women over the age of 40. She is on a mission to photograph as many women as she can!

CONVERSATION HIGHLIGHTS

Pinch Me: A hidden passion revealed itself with a Christmas gift from her husband who was in tune with her and supported her. She began to explore with her camera as a hobby, taking photos of her daughter and then people began reaching out to Ana with both compliments or her work and special requests to capture their families. What a gift indeed! She began to realize that there is something here, she started educating herself and finding training. She talks about her incredible support system and her incredible husband that is a steady motivator…“he’s everything to me”! Ana shares about her transition from her full-time past career to her present-day passion, purposeful career. She recognizes the positivity change for her personally, she’s happier and won’t allow negativity or negative people in her world.

Awakening: Ana tells us about her awakening when she discovered Sue Bryce. She wanted not just to take pictures of women but crate a safe space where they would be pampered and feel empowered throughout the process. Ana talks about the rewarding aspects of her profession, the feedback from her clients. Ana shares that her support team of hair and mare up artists are amazing. She expresses that when she is taking the pictures, she’s “in it”, meaning she is completely involved in the shoot. Eyeing every detail, hands, hair the direction the feet are pointed. It’s a passion, she loves it! Ana talks about the favor that was a blessing in disguise-the push that she needed, again the positivity of her husband and ignoring the fear to step into what she was meant to do.

Enjoyment: She is now able to enjoy her coffee! That’s pretty remarkable. Ana shares what a day in the life looks like for her. Did you hear her say that she is now able to actually enjoy that morning cup of coffee! Her days will vary based on the days agenda or appointments scheduled for the day. She takes time to arrive early to her studio, settle in and center herself, prepare for her clients and sometimes that included being physically ready, along with mentally! Ana tells us that she gives her clients 110% of herself to them (this I can attest to!). On her shoot days, it’s pretty structured and business days are more flexible yet owning her own business gives her the freedom to crate the magic for clients and it also allows her to spend more time with her family. The positivity in her voice is so enticing! And how about when she shares the conversation, she had with her husband about weekends…she no longer lives for the TGIF’s and dreads Sunday evenings, because the manic Monday is just hours away. She enjoys her life so much more.

INTENTIONAL INSPIRATION

Don’t be afraid to step out of your comfort zone. If there is something that you are truly passionate about, that you have an ability to do, don’t be scared because the rewards on the other side a huge. Just Got For It!
