She is an inspiration time one hundred! In Episode 44 Marlynn talks about and lives the life of bliss by embracing adventure, flavorful cuisine, traveling for enrichment, collaborating with entrepreneur then passing it all on to her family, you and I! Stop, think about her life’s passions…that she is pursuing then sharing to help inspire us to join in life and all it has to offer.
As I sit here composing this Sorority Session, I have my favorite Pandora channel on, French Cooking Music Radio, I find it jovial, romantic and peppy when I work, but I just realized that there is more beneath the surface that draws me in to the music’s. It’s rich in tones, the instruments, harmony, sultry vibe I feel that I’m transported into a movie scene or inspired to create…something, anything when I have this station playing. It’s also my one-n-only to set the ambiance when we have friends over for our evening gatherings outdoors under the stars at our extra-long (custom made by hubby!) picnic table with the waterfalls flowing, twinkle party lights with just enough light to see without overpowering the black night’s sky of dancing golden stars, dancing flames from the candles with delectable wines and savory foods. Okay, sometimes it’s beers with chips and salsa, kids running laps around us and ducking from the NERF dart bullets flying in between us and covering up our glasses to avoid sponge dart floaties. Ah, but either vision, it’s blissful-and the French Cooking Music Radio is still playing in the background…golden! What Is treasured most…the company, conversations and memories. No matter the scale of fanciness or very much, lack thereof…it’s blessings of bliss.
The ability to connect and share our time, enjoy the friendships and grow for the comradery. Gatherings are my favorite, I love to host and entertain but sometimes I could melt into the background and just watch the magic unfold among the guests. It’s been known to happen too. I feel that so much was lost last year, I felt rusty about getting back into the groove but as the old saying goes “it’s like riding a bike”, so I kicked kick off the training wheels and went for it. Life is too precious, too grand on whatever level or place you are within your journey to put off capturing these moments and memories with your friends and loved ones. Marlynn talks about her memories in the kitchen with her Mother, Great Grandmother, children or travels with her husband and family…what a blessing, what a legacy for her to pass forward.
