Did you enjoy Angie and her story as much as I enjoyed talking with her? He laughter and something about her presence is hypnotically energizing! In this Sorority Session, we are going 100% all-in and converting all three of the Conversation Highlights because after sharing Angle’s episode with you…I was immediately inspired!

Listening to the pure joy and liberation in her voice as she spoke about painting caused me to get a little spontaneous and drag out the new(ish) unused floor art easel and dust off the acrylic paint box and brushes. Perhaps a bit fortuitous, I purchased a variety of canvas’s a couple of weeks ago at Hobby Lobby. I have one hour before my next commitment so outside I went. Huh, now what. The floor art easel was a gift from my husband…in 2017 and was purchased for the hobby area but it got put up in the attic and forgotten until last week. In fact, the mechanisms that adjust the height were stuck because I hadn’t ever touched them. Little sad, really. Ah… all good one swift to and we are ready to adjust! Okay…now what-my two German Shepherds are walking circles around me and my new found stick friend trying to make sense of this odd activity of mine. I get it all into place and stare at this perfectly stretched, clean canvas. It’s time to get back into freeing myself of the work stresses and open up the creative side-what do I paint? The other day my some asked me as we were in the garden section looking for landscaping roses what was my favorite color of a rose-that’s’ it! I will paint yellow roses in a vase. And in that moment I was able to switch modes by flexing my versatility muscle and the colors poured onto the canvas in vibrant and powerful fashion! I quickly felt relaxed, unencumbered by the lists of things to do or perceived chaos that was swirling around earlier in my head…this was invigorating. The hour went quickly yet at a leisurely pace during each brush stroke and dip of yellow. It was after I cleaned up that I noticed my spirits were lifted and entered the next phases of my day full of charisma with a heart filled with gratitude for Angie sharing her Silhouette of Success story pack with intentional inspiration! 

I urge you to spend a few moments and try something new or re-ignite something fun, creative or relaxing and get reacquainted!
