Affirmations, mementos, treasures, items of nostalgia…all evoking emotions that encourage, support, uplift and remind us of something important in our life. What is it about these little baubles, posters of framed affirmations that provide us that extra boost of inspiration? In Episode 30, Susan has a few such personal treasures that are special, celebrated reminders for her as she embarks upon her daily duties. The hanging piece of driftwood with Latin inscription from her Mother, framed certificate and sweet chair and joyful photo.

I love special tokens that bring me joy from nostalgic moments. A couple items are essential, but some rotate in and out to keep life interesting and fresh! Right now I have displayed sweet thank you notes, an ornament from a foundation I support and always my hour glass which I talked about in a previous Episode 16.
