Hello Sorority Sister, are you ready to soar to new heights in your personal or professional life? Gina shared some stellar thoughts, actionable steps with solid recommendations from her personal experiences. So, have a seat and buckle up!

I’ve never been a fan of the “glass ceiling” metaphor, to me it’s both contradictory already limiting. I prefer to recognize that there will be challenges or objections along the way, however, no limits to what we can do, when we want it with full passion and purpose. Call it naive but I’ll just do it my way…always have and will heed Gina’s Intentional Inspiration advice shared in her Episode 22.

Something that resonated with me was an example she shared from one her customers. In recognizing the value of her company’s artisanship, exceptional quality and platinum standards. The customer provided an endearing compliment of their hardware saying they are like “diamonds in the sky”. I found that to be so charming as I believe we are all sparkling gems and in our own way have shinning gilded, jewel encrusted wings to reach the sky…and beyond when putting in the work towards our dreams or goals. In order to leave the ground, we must realize it takes time, hustle, skills and creativity.

In working hard to achieve your dream or goal there will be turbulence along the way. It’s our job to do our best to prepare, do the research and remember to give yourself grace through the process. There will be bold risks you need to weigh against the possible rewards and as Gina talked about reframing the mindset and modify the exercise to view it as “education vs. failure”. It’s not an easy adjustment to make, in my experience it can be a daily skill to become more proficient at or at least find peace within the process of learning to participate in that mindset. To grow, bold and courageous actions must take place, to scale you must think big balancing with responsible practices to know your limitations!  Sometimes we need to tap the brakes and review the progress, perhaps adjust the goals to achieve the dream. There are blue skies ahead as you navigate your way through the tricky patches of the journey. Reach out to find someone to collaborate with. Be sure to review and build into your plan time to re-engineer your skillset as needed. Get creative in your hustle…properly, ethically and lady-like that is! Believe in yourself, educate yourself and pursue your dreams and goals with vigor, passion and daring steps to reach new heights! Soar darling, soar…I see your sparkle from here!
