Invest in people….Amen to that! That’s what brought me to you, that’s what brought Vicki to us…that’s what we bring to each other.

There is an innate pull within towards helping each other, investing our time, energy, talents and hearts into one another. Surely, that’s a country song in the makings, if there isn’t one already! I feel very fortunate to be connected with such incredible women who are sharing their Silhouettes of Success with us. It’s also a wonderous blessing that you are here participating!  Let’s keep the light shining bright to help illuminate your Silhouette of Success as you pay it forward. So how can we take some of Vicki’s wisdom from Episode 17 into focused and everyday practice?

I’ll bet you do it now, because you rock! Let’s remember one of her suggestions: How can I help you?

Wow, okay…yes, it can be that simple + powerful! Whether you are working, seeking work and in transition, are you a student {or student of life like I was? } in any of these environments you have the full capacity to offer someone in your family, workplace, neighborhood, church, team…your offer to “help”. Expanding this for implementation; she speaks about taking it deeper with “How can I participate and be a part of the good things you are doing?”. Again, if you are here with us, this is part of what you probably do naturally but it’s a great specific question to practice and put into use verbatim. There is a soft directness in the question which lets someone know you have a genuine desire to invest in them, in the work or project. It’s a fascinating time we are living in over the last many months, so if any time was a perfect time to INVEST IN PEOPLE and YOURSELF, this is it.

It might be getting out of your comfort zone to be vulnerable a little, that’s growth! It might be to go explore a new occupation or hobby, that’s exciting! It might be to go walk through a door that’s slightly ajar towards the unknown calling or dream, that’s courageous! Whatever is missing or lacking, I can promise you from first-hand experience and a true believer in Vicki’s rock solid advice that taking positive action with full heart, clear mind and investing in people will both fill your soul 1000X over! I believe it YOU. I invest in YOU!

So before you go forward to make your life brighter by investing in people, may I ask you a question?
