My name is Beckie Shiveley, I’m a daughter, wife, mother, and I’m very lucky to have great friends.
I grew up in Californian when you could surf with the dolphins at sunrise, hit the golf course for a game of 9 holes in the afternoon, then do night skiing. But most of my time was spent with family and leaning about Real Estate from my Grandmother. This is where my love of the Real Estate world came from and is where more of my work live has been spent. I love the challenge and problem solving that can come with buying your first home and or refinancing a home, to helping people build a better retirement with property investments. Every person’s life is different, and every phase of life has its unique wants and needs. I enjoy helping people reach their goals of the American Dream of home ownership as a Sr. Mortgage Loan Officer.
Biggest Joys:
- Being a wife to Stephen for 31 years
- Being a mom
- Lucky to have had many dogs and cats in my life.
- Lived in the Country and took care of horse, cows, rabbits and chicken.
Biggest Challenge
- Health!!! Breast Cancer, Pre colon cancer both found 4 days apart. Then diagnosed with PBC. Then to top it all off COVID-19
- Rebuilding my business in 2021
- Moving to Texas but so LOVING it here!!!!
CONVERSATION HIGHLIGHTS
Voice: Beckie shares her reflections with us of the indelible impact of her Grandmother’s assured approach (maybe a little spunk too!) that allowed her to find, express and practice using her voice in the world. She artfully narrates her sweet memories with her Grandmother that both influenced and inspired in so many facets of her life.
Rebuild: Back to the basics, that’s how Beckie is approaching this next phase in her Silhouette of Success journey. It’s a remarkable mindset and we can all benefit from her example. She talks about rebuilding her body after the chemotherapy and radiation taking her to the brink of death, rebuilding her business after being away as she fought for her life and now excited to begin rebuilding her goals and dreams for the future. It’s back to the basics for Beckie and inspirational idea for all of us!
Grace: Beckie’s divine composure of grace and poise is breathtaking as she describes being carried by God through her discovery, diagnosis and the healing phases of cancer, her struggles and successes. It’s an understatement to say she’s inspiring as we hear her personal triumph’s over some formidable obstacles. Listening to her as she shares her Silhouettes of Success journey…she has such a soft, warm inner strength that is angelically powerful. Something that she said can ring true for all of us “I don’t live in fear anymore”.
INTENTIONAL INSPIRATION
Don’t live in fear. Be kind, show grace to yourself and to others. Understand limitations put in front of you are sometimes a big blessing. Learn from, hop over and keep moving. Don’t let fear be your rudder in life!
